The class 4 play run is still rolling at it's normal flow 1200cfs untill October. and it's good to go. The Honeymoon section can be run at very low levels in fact we have run it in October obviously it's not as good but still fun. The Lower cf run is also good at all levels. You heading this way?

have you done the town run yet?

Yea, plan to be up middle of next week. Not the best time for water but been waiting years to see the runs on the east and north of YNP. Haven't done the "play" run but know there are sieves. Still doing the after work runs? We are class IV boaters so probably will not take our full on playboats, at least not knowing the run.

Honeymooners sounds too much for the wife and me, unless it's lots easier low. The Lower sounds more our speed, thanks for the tip.

Ps, is the Town Run different from the "play" run?

The Town run is class 2-3 and the upper run is class 3-4 and the upper holds the best whitewater and play. The upper is pool and drop nature and great for playboats so bring it along for sure.

The honeymoon section is pretty tame at these levels for sure and the lower run is still desert class 4 and really a fun run.

The best run around right now is probably the upper run on the local ditch and then the others. Call me if you would like and I can point you in the right direction or just stop by the shop!

As the water gets lower for you guys in CO you should be heading this way for the Shoshone it's a great run. If you really wants some excitement come this weekend the Hells Angels are having there National gathering here.

Oh yeah when you starting making the trek this way be very aware of the cops there are an extra 200 in town for the hells angels and they are patroling all major roads into Cody for the next week.

Hopefully a few will want to go boating!
