I'd like to get on it Saturday with you guys if you are going to be up there. I've been on it a few times. Peak usually happens later in the day this time of year, correct?

Ran CC of Ark tonight at 7 on the stick gauge. Good minimum. All wood issues are avoidable, but stay on the inside at bends on the river. Also ran upper lake from tombstone gorge to moniter rock and all drops are clean.

Thanks for the update. Did you run the bottom gorge or just the top two?

We only ran the top 2 gorges on cc of a. There is wood to duck under on river right just before the take-out that may get too low with high water. Definitely stay inside on the first left bend after the first gorge. Probably be back out there tonight. FYI moniter rock is just above toaster on Lake Creek

We just paddled it yesterday, here are some interesting changes: you can't take the usual line on the second gorge crux/drop anymore, which used to be the right boof. Now it's backed up with a nasty rock in the landing combined with a log. You should scout it, and decide whether you want to take the far left, or the center driving left, or portage. We ran center driving left and it goes at low water, but not much room for error. Other than that the run is pretty clear of wood, except for the third gorge.

We did it twice today at 250 and it felt low, still. To echo what someone said above, there's a left turning drop with wood pasted against the outside of the corner. Easy to avoid by staying inside, at higher flows it will probably be pillowing into the wood. In the second gorge the good boof ledge generally taken on the right has a rootwad sitting against the right bank. Normally I boof right left stroke, but today I did a fast readjustment when I saw the rootwad and just boofed straight instead. Seemed fine, but that rootwad looks like it's going to be there for a while. Overall, I thought the wood situation was very good given this run's past tendencies.

Damn it feels good
