Clear Creek Challenge /Clear Creek Mountain Fest

This year the Clear Creek Challenge will be taking place during the second week of June. We will be expanding the running and biking portions of the course to make it even tougher then last year. Also for this year we will be hosting a mountain boarding event, whitewater rodeo and down river race. For additional info, please contact: info@clearcreekchallenge.org

***We need safety boaters on Sat for the Clear Creek Challenge....Volunteer on Sat and get free entry into the rodeo on Sun. ***************

Hey,

I did this last year and it was pretty fun. I've got a random idea for improvement. What if you started from the TOP of loveland pass with a ski/board race down from the tip-top summit to the runner waiting at the bottom? A quadratholon! It's already kind of a funky arrangment (being all down hill, and boating instead of swimming -- well, no swimming at least for most people, but I won't name any names 'cause you know who you are!!! Ha!) and this would just add to the equation.

I thought last year was a good water level, could have been a tad higher, but kind of nice not to be gripped. Gore race it's not, and that's fine by me.

Do you organizers think you could do something like that? It would add another 1,000 feet to your vert drop, too.
