Clear Creek Canyon open to boaters!

Yep that is correct, starting on Sunday CDOT will be letting boaters up the canyon to about 1 1/2 miles below the slide. This will get us above Black Rock.....enjoy all and remember to be careful out there.

OPEN! I just talked to the CDOT gate keepers at the canyon and in fact is OPEN to recreational use. I drove up to tunnel 2 to scout some stuff. Their only concern is folks trying to drive past the baracade at the rock slide. They said the area is still very dangerous and needs control work done still. If you gotta get Upper, go the long way.
