Cleaning Dry Tops?

I have a rubber dry top w/ a fleece lining that smells like serious ass. Anyone have a suggestion for a non-abrasive detergent or some other means to get rid of the stinch..... a side from actually showering???

1. Burn that thing.
2. Get a breathable drytop and layer with polypro that you can wash/dispose of.

Go to a scuba shop and get a product called "Sink The Stink". Soak overnight and hang to dry. It's magic. If that doesn't work there's no hope.

Baking soda

Cheaper alternative- baking soda and water. I fill a bathtub twice a year with a ton of baking soda and throw all of my gear - ski, hockey, paddle gear... - leave it for overnight and then rinse. Sometimes it works and sometimes it needs another soak.

Thanks for the suggestions, I will have to try at least one of them out.
Bastard son of elvis, i agree at times you just have to let go of some gear but this dry top seems to still work well. All else fails, hell fire on that POS. Thanks again and good paddling.

I love your Zizzou quotes. I am a member of the society and I listen to Bowie songs strictly in Portugese. I may even name my first born Kingsley.
