Clean Up the Upper Colorado River this Saturday (Sept. 24th) for National Public Land
This is Grand County’s 17th year to participate in National Public Lands Day!
We are looking for:
Volunteers with boats (either rafts or kayaks)
What we provide:
Free lunch (Please RSVP)
A goodie bag
Free BBQ after the clean-up (meat from the Middle Park Meat Company)
FREE SHUTTLES (we will pay Rancho del Rio to shuttle your vehicle)
Tons of fun and a day on the river!

• Bowen Gulch Connector Trail (RMNP)
Part of the Continental Divide Trail. Constructing a
causeway with water drains/bars.

Planting 2’ saplings (approx. 200 trees)
• Colorado River Cleanup (BLM)
Removing debris from the Colorado River corridor.
• Hurd Peak Trail (BLM)
Trail maintenance, rehabilitation, and resource

Possible trail re-route or constructing a turnpike and
water erosion control devices.

Constructing a 120 foot turnpike, moving rocks and
