Here is your chance to get some sweet gear, or to just blow some money on kayak porn while at the same time exposing your crew as the bad-asses that they are in our annual catalog. We are in search of photographs that capture the true essence of whitewater kayaking and/or the lifestyle that surrounds kayaking. Special attention should be taken to the quality and aesthetic beauty of the shot and the feeling that it conveys, rather than solely on the size of the drop. Best of all, you the people will vote on our finalists for which picture you think is the best.
How to submit photos
Send an email to
kyle@coloradokayak.com and
heather@coloradokayak.com with your full name, phone number, address, and your email. Attach the submissions as JPEG file formats with a minimum of 300dpi resolution, large format size. Limit THREE submissions per person, and please exercise discretion when submitting photos (dont send me three different pics of the same drop).
Submission deadline is August 25th.

Technical Jargon. By submitting photos to CKS you are authorizing CKS to use the photos in our promotions for one years time. Furthermore, you are giving CKS consent to compensate you with the listed prizes above, if your photo is chosen. By submitting work you have been given consent by the subjects to submit a photo of them. You will only submit your original work. CKS retains the right to crop and digitally modify your photo as we see fit for use in our promotions. CKS staff and team members are not eligible to submit photos for the competition. If you think this might be you, just ask and I will let you know what I can do for you on an individual basis.
