heh ... be careful with BC classs V. If Betty Pratt-Johnson calls it V, it might be IV-V. If it's up the fraser drainage, it might be V. If it's new, in sea-to-sky corrridor, or your getting your beta from Stuart Smith, V is V and then some.
After seeing some BC V, lots of WA V is pansy ass III+. And I am a II boater.
I think Tommy Hilleke mentioned some rules about boating in BC -- they were spot on.
