I am no legend on the North Fork (or elsewhere), that is for sure. My history there is "been there, done that" thank you!.. Nancy Wiley and I followed John Wasson down to Jacobs the day I was there, and from there we were on our own. Thankfully I kept my head up that day... I recall flying into the eddy left at Jacobs, and then river scouting through golf course and the rest of the way down. We had one "oversee'er" (Tom I recall) making sure we were ok and following us.. It was super super fun but to be honest I have not been back. "Been there, done that" has worked for me. I still have a pretty good memory.
Glad about your skirt working. Watch that going deep stuff. I know it is better than landing flat but anyway... give me some nice class III with good eddies and ferries and I'll be happy. I need to work on that Middle Fork invite that just came my way... I need to work on that.
Get your but out here and I will show you the most rad horizontal creeking you have ever seen.
Hope you are well,
