Cheap Rack Suggestions??

I'm traveling to NZ in a month and we're trying to figure out different rack options for the car we're going to buy. We're not sure what kind but are banking on it having rain gutters. I'm looking for a cheap tower system that we can mount 2 x 4's too. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Quick 'n' Easy is the cheapest brand i know, usually found at your local kayak shop

When I was over their we went to the Bliss-Stick Factory and they hooked us up with a center wall of a kayak cut it in half, ad duct tape and their you have it.. A roof rack. Cut air holes in the bottom so it dosnt slide... Have fun down thier ...
