Chama day run shuttle options

Any advice on hitch-ability on the day run chama? Is 2500 too high for a newby boater? Thanks Kyle Hagadorn

Bike Shuttle

One of the best places to bike shuttle is the day section of the Rio Chama. BTW its up to ~3000cfs as of noon today. Did it at 2400 last year but 3K is making me nervous; got to head up and check it out though.

Hitching the shuttle is usually not a problem. Bike shuttle is an option as well. The river gets bigger at 3000 cfs, but not harder technically. Some rapids are easier, IMO. Cold water to swim in though, so dress appropriately.
