What's the story this week on the put-in closures on the Roaring Fork? I'd like to run the Cemetery section and take out after south canyon in Glenwood. Where do I put in? What do I watch out for? Any idea how much river time this run will give me in a raft?

You can put in at westbank which is Off hwy 82 before the carbondale put in, be careful tough it is a zoo during the weekends, just have all your stuff together on the boat before you back down the ramp and put your raft in the space is limited and it will give you about 4 hours of river time

Westbank is good but also beware, the DOW is checking for habitat stamps. You need one to launch. I do not have one and have not been hassled but the other day my two buddies were threatened with a ticket and were not allowed to put in.
