Poudreraft- there's a guide book out there that shows all the old rapids as submerged underwater. That would be the approximate location of the "suprises". If you get a regular topo map there are good sand waves at Mille Crag Bend (your kayak friends will kiss your feet if you plan for some time here).

Are these "new" old rapids, anything to be concerned about. Can they be floated at night? Waves, rocks?? Thanks

they look big, but aren't difficult. They are of the same nature as some of the bigger ones upstream- classic pool drop, horizon-line, big water. We ran it at near 12k. I remember some holes in there, but they are easily avoidable. Rocks were pretty hard to find on the entire run! May be fairly exciting at night.
My own challenge for those new/oldies was still being drunk from the night before and not feeling too strong (vomit in the eddy imminent). So maybe you'd be better off running them at night as opposed to 7am.
