We were running the Ark from Texas Creek to Salt Lick on Sunday...between Maytag and Three Forks we started seeing lots of emergency personnel. Then we started to see traffic backed up...halfway through Three Forks rapid there was a Freemont County Sheriff on the right bank blowing a whistle and signaling us to move to river left. When we came around the next corner there was a car upside down near the right bank, with just 2 tires sticking up out of the water. There was an extensive rescue operation going on. When we got down to Three Rocks a flight for life helicopter came in low and turned around to land at Pinnacle Rock. Word is, emergency services used floats to raise the car and pull the driver out...
