can anyone get someone turn on their water in pueblo ?

Going to the ark this weekend with 14 ft boats and friends with beers! Hoping some big time farmer *really* needs water this weekend. If any of you own large water rights on the ark, please call them on saturday morning! Questions I would love answers to...

- should we skip fractions at this level?

- should we skip browns at this level?

- is the gorge more manageable at this level for oar/paddle boats with relatively experienced guides (salmon, colorado, browns, etc.) anything to watch out for that is not in the bible?

thanks for the beta!

We did the gorge and the numbers last weekend in a 14er. Both were at very manageable levels. In the Gorge, the hole at wallslammer will surf you into the wall if you are not careful, but its not a really big deal so long as everyone stays in the raft. The numbers was great. A little technical and just big enough to scare people who are not experienced paddlers. The water quality down there is great this time of the year- crystal clear and pretty warm. Have fun.

Just got back from the Ark. Did numbers Saturday and Gorge Sunday. The Commercial companies were still using 14 footers or so it looked like. I would think the numbers will bone out before the gorge for a 14 foot raft, since they run 14s down the gorge all summer.

sunshine rapid in the gorge gets really tricky at around 700 cfs. Unitll then you can run left to right and the rest is cake.

the narrows sucks at most any water level especially this one.
