BV Whitewater park extension

Good news, the trucks are in the Ark as we speak building additional features in Buena Vista. The water has been too high until yesterday, so there is a window for some progress this week. I will keep you updated as the park comes together and will include photos too. Should be an awesome addition to the Ark River Valley and for Colorado boaters as a whole.

PS we have had 350-550 cfs the past 7 weeks, so there is great(or fun)kayaing in Colorado in Feb and March, just need to get off the skis once in a while.

We hope not so construction can move on for the park. The flows are to stay at natural levels or native flows for the near future.

getting it done

I saw Harvey with a shovel this AM fine tuning the first drop. That was a great site to see. Trucks are moving and rocks are being placed, should shape up to be a fun year on the Ark.

Harv - it is lookin good down there - looks to me like it will be poppin come run-off!

This past sunday was epic - the snow is settin up - you can pull a skier anywhere - very short hikes to the goods - everythin that you looked at is good to go now - everything!

We have a new area that is super fun - call me for a day maybe thurs about 11 am or earlier? Only if it is sunny - Can Hixon or MoInc get out on thurs - HMMM.

Also I have a bro that has a sled for sale - one of my old ones - a good runner - it is a 01 800 mtn cat 144" - with a little trailer for I think $2100

I can play on Thursday....was planning on checking out Middle Fork but if ya'll are game to hit up the Wood I would be down. Chris Tracy wants to go pretty bad as well. RDNEK have you ever checked out Brittle Silver Basin? Tried to get up there last Wednesday but got shut down with bad weather...I've heard good things.
