BV Hole is back and better than ever...........

Hey Paddlers

The hole in BV-Buena Vista- is great right now. I have had the pleasure to watch and paddle with some great paddlers. They are going off in there. It is at 500 cfs today. People are throwing dynamic loops(front and back) and big ends. Eddy service is great. I would suggest any flow at 400 plus on the #'s gage and the hole will be pumping. You can paddle it as low as 200 cfs, but is less dynamic. The Buena Vista Hole is at the end of East Main St(off of US 24).Drive till you see the soccer fields and the boat ramp will be on the right side This is not to be one of those secretive holes. We welcome all to come down and play. It is in a city park funded by local citizens in conjunction with BV. It was developed and re vamped by Whitewater Designs. They are committed to making their projects (features) as functional as possible. The improvements made in October and April are starting to bloom. Big thanks. Yeah, Big Daddy (formally Big Worm) is right. The BV hole is the truth. I paddled there yesterday with Chad Hixon and Big Daddy. That spot rips it. It is simply the best hole I have ever been in at 500cfs. Super dynamic, big bouncy ends and huge loops. Salida is also going off right now as well. The lower hole is so retentive at this level that I am still throwing ends as I write this and my session ended an hour ago. I am going to post some pics from our session at BV here in a minute. Thanks for the props Daddy...Chad Gorby and Jed Selby were critical in the success of this spot as well. Off to Reno...
