Buzzard Creek Beta

Trying to figure out some good 4+ runs to do next week when me and my buddies are out in Colorado. Saw this one in CRCII and looks intresting.

Is it any good.. Worth doing if we are only going to be out for a week?

Is there an online gauge. It looks like if flows into Plateau Creek and that has a gauge.. it looks like Plateau is high...does that mean Buzzard is too?

Any other Beta would be great.

We ran buzzard last weekend. It was at flood level when we ran it and in fact we thought plateau creek was buzzard creek, had more water in it and it looked like it had bigger rapids too.

When we ran it the water was above the sidewalk in town and it was still bony at the top. The bible said the beefer section is at the top and we thought we were done with that section but it filled in considerably with more water and it turned out to be pretty good read run section in the middle once it filled in.

There was only one major strainer that we had to portage. It was about halfway to 3/4 of the way down. The river forked left and right, the left side being almost to low to even run and the right side had the big tree laying across it.

Not sure about the guages.. we thought it was completely visual and took a chance, we got lucky with some good water.
