Burn L or jefe?

Hey guys,
I am about to buy and a boat, and I am having trouble getting a sense for the size of the Burn L. I know I should demo, but I cant. I have recently been paddling a jefe. before that I paddled a nomad 8.1. I am 6'1" 180 lbs. At this point, I love the jefe, but I have seen a lot of their hulls split, so I am considering a Burn. Looking at it, I expect the large burn to be slightly larger and faster than the jefe, be a bit more stable and edgier, and boof and resurface a little less easily. can anyone who knows both boats confirm this? I guess my worry is that the burn L is larger than I think, and I will be swiming in it.

ps I dont care about which ones outfitting you like better

I demo'd a Jefe before I purchased my L Burn--I just didn't fit in a Jefe. I'm 6'6", 210. If you were happy with the size of your 8.1, I think that will be more comparable to a M Burn. I think the L Burn is around 8'5". I only paddled the Jefe once, but it was much easier to turn than my Burn, but that said, I don't have any problems with my Burn's manuverability (unless I'm pinned on a rock!). The different hulls with perform differently, with the Burn's hull carving into eddys easier.

Size Matters

The Large Burn, is well, Large. I am 6' 180 and I feel like I am swimming in the Large burn. I fit well in the Medium and like it a lot. The Burn is a better river runner,The Jefe a better creeker IMO.

well if you do decide to go with the L burn hit me up , I've got an 06 model with all its original outfiting still in the bag and I belive it's called sincro 6 outfiting in the boat . plus the warranty card you can fill out . It is brand new and I mean new. I've lake paddled it but its never seen a river and probably won't as long as I own it , its to small for me but I am a big dude so if you or anyone else want it post back or call 720-291-6945 I'll take 400 bucks for it no shit and this time I am not taking a highest bidder just call or post if you've got the cash its yours.

Make sure and check out the Grande. Though you fit fine in your Jefe fine at 6'1" 180, Johnny tweaked the design a bit for the Grande and people are finding it even more forgiving.
