ok, this may sound like i'm knocking the idea...i'm not, however, usually I look at this kind of stuff like this...
If i paid myself $20 per hour for every hour of hasstle, and B.S this boat is going to give me for the rest of the, keep having to fix it, having to walk out of a creek or river because it broke again, or having to dump it every 200yds. I'd probobly by the end of the season have paid myself enough to buy a new boat just re-fixing this thing that is destined for the dump. I know how it is to hold on (i ran Big South with 5!!! cracks in the ass of my beloved Stubby. I had a whole Fuc#ing roll of tape on that thing! but ask my boating partners how it was waiting for me to dump it every five minutes for 12 miles!) Just let it go, man...but a new one, or a used one for 300 bucks, you'll skip the show and tell of how you fixed it, but you'll be able to go boating.
just my 2 cents,

trey, you're probably onto something, but I think my fiance would kill me if I brought a sixth boat into our life... this one's just for occasional kicks, unless it fixes superbly...

journey over the destination thing, eh?

dave, I would love a piece or two of that tape, you can catch me at snow.ape AT gmail DOT com to get the logistics of meeting up? or should we just go play in the creek!!!??
