Browns Canyon National Monument Proposal Announcement

This in from Mark Udall's office:

I am pleased to announce that Senator Mark Udall will hold a press conference on Tuesday, December 3, to present his final proposal to establish the Browns Canyon National Monument. As you know, this bill is the result of 18 months of working with Chaffee County leaders, residents, and businesses to develop common-sense, community-centered legislation.

Please feel welcome to join us and hear the announcement first-hand:

Date: Tuesday, December 3, 2013
Time: 11 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Location: Noah's Ark Whitewater Rafting Company, 23910 U.S. Highway 285, Nathrop

The event will be outside so please be prepared for local weather conditions. Due to time constraints, only Senator Udall and a few designated individuals will be speaking to the press.

We expect to post the final bill, map, and fact sheet describing the bill online by Tuesday afternoon at www.markudall.senate.gov/brownscanyon.

What are you doing HERE!!! For crying out loud...GO BOAT!!

Thanks Leslie. I just saw the Denver Post article this morning.... unfortunately a little too last minute for me to be able to attend, but hopefully some other local boaters will be able to attend and show their support.
