brand freaking new

Whats up everyone just stopping in to say hey, I'm BRAND NEW to the kayak scene as well as my wife (not much of a forum person). I have done quite a bit of 2 man and solo flatwater canoeing in the past but as a mountain bike racer i fell in love with the thought of getting into whitewater kayaking.

I'm in Newburgh IN (on the banks of the ohio at the southwest tip of the state) and have picked up an older G FORCE 6.3 I'm super excited to get in the water but am currently looking for some things to work on as far as techniques to get my bearings in the boat incase the human side isn't where it needs to be.

I'm glad I found the board and am looking forward to gaining vast amounts of info through it.
