Boy's Body Found in Pueblo

Just thought everyone would like to know that they finally found the teen's body that drowned in the Ark last week. Here's a link to the article if you're interested.

This is the end of a very sad story. The mother seems bitter.... A story like this does not seem to impead these kids. I see kids all the time with innertubes at the Golden Kayak Park (no PFD) and their parents watching. They also let their dogs swim in it. Though, I did see someone with a dog that had a PFD on. It makes you wonder about priorities. I also am a little turned off by all that raw sewage that spilled into the river (YUK). :P I'll think twice about going to the Pueblo Kayak Park.

Chad, just FYI, that sewage spill was a couple miles downstream from the park. (At the confluence of the Fountain.) And it didn't come from Pueblo, that's just where it ended up. Not placing the blame on you all personally, but we're always getting crapped on down here in Pueblo......sometimes literally. :P

Sorry, It can't be much worse than the Platte though Denver god knows what is *in there! :P

Glad to hear they found his body. FYI - Fountain creek peaked at about 7500 cfs (Security guage) during that storm. I wish we could harness that water!
