Although I believe it is a bit early to make plans for Boulder Creek, when/if Barker spills I'll be hitting the lower canyon at least a few times per week after work. I don't care much for the Boulder 'play park', and would prefer to drive elsewhere for play at pretty much any flow. I do live pretty close to you though, so give me a holla if you ever want to boat. Clear Creek should start flowing long before Boulder Creek, and I feel all the class IV's on Clear are easier than the Elephant relevant flows. Might be a good place to start before going up Boulder Canyon. I also work from home, and can usually flex my schedule a bit to go boat.

Just saw this post and have been hitting Boulder Creek several times after work (usually solo or pick up whoever else is there). I love this level so shoot me a line if you want to paddle. I'm also up for the lower NSV and Black Bear when the water's up.

I'm meeting a few pals down at the Golden Play Park at 4pm today to run shuttle for the Dumont and/or Upper Clear Creek. Gold quad Tacoma with neon green Jefe. Hoping to meet some more local regulars to keep it safe.
