Boulder Creek clean up, Thursday after work; need volunteers

I am try ing to get some folks to help clean up some wood as well as trash in the eddies and banks. Eric at Boulder OUtdoor Center is hooking us up with a small raft to carry out trash. If there is enough interest I can bring two rafts. Kayaks are fine, but it will be much easier to get in and out of a raft.

We plan to launch from ebin fine around 4 or 5 pm thursday June 2nd and fill some trash bags and cut out some of the branches that pose hazzards to beginners as well as rafts. Anyone interested should dress to swim (wade) and can help as little or much as you want.

Sorry about the short notice.

Sorry if anyone ended up waiting around. It's 4pm and I am still waiting for the raft crew to arrive. put on for is is more likely closer to 5 30 this evening. I think we will take out at 30th street, so that might be a good place to meet. I'm sure this is too late and no one who was coming is still reading, but call my cell at 720-298-2242 if you want to meet for shuttle.

Thanks to everyone who helped out last night: Zach, Ari, Jay and Cheyenne. We pulled 4+ bags of litter and removed a few branches. SHoes and water bottles were the most common items found.

THanks again to BOC for letting us use thier little raft.
