Correction, Boise could do it, if only it had the money. As much as I would like to believe a grassroots campaign can raise ~$500,000, I'm guessing the park won't be built until some more big spenders decide it is worth the investment. The plans are largely done, there's some NIMBY issues that affect Phase II (actually more like "not next to my irrigation ditch"), but it won't be built until there is enough money to get all of Phase I built. It feels closer to becoming reality, but it's the same old story- not enough cash.
If y'all want to see a world class playpark in Boise, then break out your checkbook and don't be stingy with the 0's.
