Bodyboarder in Pine Rapid

A group of my friends and me were on a raft trip yesterday with The Adventure Company (great time btw thanks). We stopped at Pine rapid on the Arkansas River when a guy on a bodyboard comes floating down the river and starts riding on a wave in the middle of the rapid! He even waved to our group and said something? We were blown away. Our guide said the guy is probably on here.
As a fellow bodyboarder (in the ocean) I just wanted to give props. That was sick!
I am staying in Manitou Springs until the 7th and would love to try it. On something a little tamer of course. Does anyone rent bodyboards?
Also, what is the name of the websight where our pictures are? Our guide told us but I forgot.

It's a riverboard and the person was Steve. He and Eric kill it on those boards, dropping coors falls, bailey, gore etc. You should definitely talk to him I'm sure he'd love to give you the dl
Check out rmr, kern riverboards, etc

hey thanks for the props .

Tatoo -- send a post if you're headed back this way next season, might be able to hook up. I should have an extra Kern (my board of choice) by then and Steve seems to have a good collection of RMRs these days. Also, Shane of RipBoard - riverboards, riverboarding gear, wetsuits & more. gives lessons in Golden at a good beginner area.
