BOATERCROSS This Saturday @ Monarch!!!!!!

This saturday is the Boatercross @ Monarch. We started building the course yesterday and are going to continue to improve it until saturday. This year's comp will be a blast since New Belgium will be here as well as CKS. We will also prob have a pond skim at the bottom so bring your skis and snowboard and try and shred the pond. Hope to see everyone here this sat!! If anyone has any questions, call Guest Services @ 719-530-5050, or relply to the post. Thanks

Does the entrance fee for the race allow us to ski/board afterwards or would we have to buy a seperate lift ticket?

Boating and boarding within hours of each other is like a sore dick. You can't beat it.

more Info about Boatercross

The entry fee to enter is 20 dollars and that includes a t-shirt for the comp. If you want to ride the rest of the mountain, you will be able to buy a lift ticket for $25 dollars. so $45 for riding all day, entry into the comp, and a t-shirt, not a bad deal. We will be pulling people up the course in their boats with snowmoblies, so if you didnt want to pay the extra for the lift ticket, you could prob just ride in the comp since no lifts are neccesary. Last i heard, New Belgium was bringing a bunch of kegs to put up on the deck which will be a perfect spot for people to watch since you can see the whole course from the deck. Sign up for the comp is from 8-930, and the comp starts @ 11. Hope that clarifies. If you got anymore questions, give us a call here at Monarch, 719-530-5050. or check out more details on the Mountainbuzz calendar.

Boatercross....

The course is looking better each day. After tommorow the course should be finished and ready for people to shred on saturday. Sounds like the pond skim is going to happen as well. Its snowing up here today so the course will be softer and the rest of the mountain will be good for the end of the season.

hope to see everyone here tommorow...

The course is looking good and the finish line is even better. I took a few test runs today and things worked out pretty good. there is a mandatory pond skim at the bottom and the first one to get to the other side will win the heat. Hopefully the weather will be good, but if not there will be plenty of beer on the deck. Hope to see lots of people here tommorow.
