Board surfing Lunch Counter.
I just noticed matt got up some pics from this past weekend in Jackson and wanted to comment on them. I got into kayaking because when I moved to CO. I really missed surfing in the ocean. I remember as a kid seeing pics of "river surfers" and thinking how much I wanted to try it. This weekend was it as Lunch Counter was in and in perfect shape! We were there for our PWTPs stop and Will (who rips this wave) from Rendezvous River Sports in Jackson hooked me with a board and wetsuit and sent me on my way. It was incredible! You could ride the thing as long as you wanted with the real feel of surfing an ocean wave. What a cool feeling to be surfing a shoulder high wave with 10 packs of rafts coming at you and being surrounded by the Wyoming scenery. For sure one of the best days on the river I have ever had.
