I messed around in the section from the dam to outside of Silverthorn. Ok at 850 but not worth any kind of drive just a lunch break run. I guess the uppper section is fun right now. Check out CC&R for the discription. My guess is that Green Mtn would be your best bet flowing at 1500!

Lower Blue has what like 1200cfs, but I think I still prefer the upper at 800cfs. Lower should run late into the season b/c of releases from Green Mtn Res., so you can hit it whenever. Upper from Quaking Creek or the public parking area to the Columbine landing is lot's of fun right now with lots of shuttles available from the after work crowd.

Depending on what you are looking for. It's not the biggest whitewater adventure I've ever done (it's short, a little boney, has some waves and fewer holes), but if you are planning on running something rare better hit it now.
