Black Canyon update!

excellent photos. I've been rock climbing there, but never kayaking. I especially liked the photos of the poison ivy portages

Waterboy, thanks my man... Speaking of rock climbing in the Black. Saturday night we got to watch these two climbers who seemed to be stuck and disoriented way up on the wall above cave camp. You could occasionally hear them yell and see the head lamps going up and down the crack. Anyone know those guys? It seemed like they had a real rough night for them.

I talked to this kid in class yesterday and he said that he was down there climbing and that those guys had to spend the night up there.

Climbers getting stuck on the walls in the Black happens all of the time. Happened to me as well.

....just to let everybody know, the BLACK has 2 more months of action to offer.....usually closes the first week of DEC....better to get the seasons pass for 30 bucks...instead of paying 15 a trip....used to be 7 a trip or 15 a seasons pass.....get steamboaters are weirdos names for to hear them....
