Big T - YMCA to Estes Brewery ?

Hey all, Looking to sneek in a quickie before heading out of Estes this morning roind 9:00 AM. Any river hazards between the YMCA and the brewery? Anyone want to jump in for a casual float?

Thanks - chris 970-331-6735

I can't make it....but how is that section? And how do you know if there is enough water in it?

YMCA - Beta

I could see most of it from the road into town. Put in at the pull off posted as YMCA property and walked over near the restaurant to put in. The flow was fine with no azz draggin. Going hon-solo, I eddy hopped carefully and was able to see everything without running blind. There are a couple of downed trees but nothing river wide (7/4/09). I'd call it easy class III w/ one slightly complicated section as you get closer to town. The run is approx 3.5 miles (by truck odometer). It's a chill run that I hear typically has too little flow. I encountered no barbed wire but, was wary of it in the agric. areas. Saw lot's of folks hanging out on back decks and fishing. All friendlies.
I'd bet someone's got better detail but, that's my take.
