Showed up Sunday, put in below the Disposal and ran everything else in the Sluff section with my boys from Routt County (970). The six firetrucks and two ambulances put us off the Disposal (that's our excuse and we're going with it).

Great river..........Stompin' the Garbag D is on our list for next time. That's one sick line....................

Hey Smokey -

Did you run #2 down the slide on the right? Any issues with shallowness/wood? Looked like it'd go, but reports from the low water crew made the wood situation sound unappealing. I didn't see anyone else run it on Saturday.

another boat wrapped downstream

Be on the lookout just before the ledges above Drake. Yellow creeker wrapped on rock. Part of my group, have to wait for the water to drop to get out. Left side part in the willows, there is rebar in the river and boat is jammed between it and the rock. Missing paddle too. My name on it.

Yes. No issues other than a quick backdeck roll between drop one and two on the slide. But then that might be an issue eh? I don't think anyone noticed other than my bros. The punters on the road probably thought it was a cool trick. I didn't hit bottom and finished with a boof so I'm calling it clean.

Props to the Steamboat crew for firing that up. I definitely watched several people run the disposal on Saturday, and I didn't see a single person run that drop.

Thanks.

I've got to give props to Fluid mullet Lief (sp?), not the other Lief whose mom is alway getting raked across the coles. He and his bro stomped (with style) Garbage D, number 2 and number 3 twice, although I don't think the second run was as good. There was a lost paddle and near swim.

Oh and Frontrange Fred too. He fired up all three.

Smokey - why didn;t you call me. If I knew you boys were gonna actually show up I would have come up there and showed you how to run the Disposal for the umpteenth time. Stoked to hear somebody fired up #2. The wood looked sketchy, not sketchy enough to deter frontrange I guess.

And I just looked it up in my phone... the yellow boat, pinned below the Garbage Disposal is a 303. I repeat, the boat belongs to a man with an actual 303 area code at the beginning of his phone number. Yes, this great monster of the paddling community did once live in the great Fort to the north of the 303 empire, but he has officially broken his ties to that great Fort and switched his cell to reflect that broken allegiance.

Pagel - I hope you are recovering alright. Sorry to hear that the damage was so extensive. Brutal. Be safe out there.

Joe - looks like you're gonna get a chance to rep... or ad to the carnage count for the 303 after all. Flows up through Thursday!!! Yeehaw
