Don't know the level, but it should be doable. Pagel & I are planning a quickie down the bottom half on Wednesday afternoon. You are welcome to join us if you like. Call 303.229.1315 in the a.m. to set it up.

level

we ran the bottom half and spencer yesterday at roughly the same water comeing out of long draw and it was right about 1.4 on the gauge.. It was totally fun.. We also ran the whole run on sunday with a little more water, but it was still only at 1.5ish.. So I would say that it is still good to go..

have fun

i would say that it is probably done. we ran the bottom half yesterday @ around 1.4 feet and the flow dropped coming out of Long Draw since we were on it. It is probably about 1.2 or so now. Hopefully releases will kick back up.

Is the flow info that is posted here pretty accurate for the Big South? Seems to have been right on the last two weeks. Also, what is the lowest cfs/ft you would go in at?

Big South was 1.25ft two days ago. At that level it's not worth the detour unless you're really jonesin for some bone-zone creeking and are in the area. Hopefully they'll start releasing more water out of Long Draw soon, or we get a deluge of rain in the park.

I see that after your post frenchy that the output for long draw jumped up to 175 cfs, any idea what this will do to the level? think this will pull it up around 1.5 ??

The Big South was 2ft this afternoon. Great level. However, there is a very good chance they will be shutting it off completly tomorrow to help with the body recovery of a woman who slid on her motorcycle into Super Collider, in the Narrows. Huge bummer all the way around. Check flows in the am if you're thinking of coming up to paddle the Poudre..
