Big South... How low is good to go?

They just dropped long draw to 164cfs. Haven't seen a visual gauge update in a while. Was there last week when long draw was in the 180's and had a great time on the lower half at the low level. I'd think it would still be fun with a bit lower water. Did a search and saw that somebody ran the whole thing with weird creek at 160cfs which was reported as bony as hell up top, but decent at the bottom.

With late season options diminishing, I'd love to get on big south one more time before I start flipping the bailey / gore coin every weekend till it snows.

Anybody seen what the visual gauge shows (I guess nobody is going up that far...). Any comments on running the big south real low? I don't mind bone zone as long as its not pinning and wheelchairing every rapid.

Yesterday, the Big South Gauge was below 2 feet.
I am guessing that by the time we put on the lower half (5:00 pm) the low water (160 cfs)had caught up to us. (I hope so)

The rush and curtain call were the mankiest of the run and not worth it.
Prime Time, DT and Slideways were fun and there were great boofs.

Yes, there are pins, but no wheelchairing at all.

From the Fort, there is no question that she is worth it over baileys or gore.

Put Lake Creek on your list. Like I have said on here before pm me I can and will go out about any afternoon after 4 pm.

She will be in the 300 range for another couple of weeks - well a couple of days a week anyway. At 300 the bottom 4 are worth comming up for. Easy laps and waaaayyyyyy better than gore or baileys.

Yo, last season we ran the bottom at the bottom yellow mark. It was ridiculously low and you should definitely run DT several times if you go at that level. I'd recommend Lake at 300 first.

Ouch! Lake just dropped below 100. Not going up there tonight.
