Any word on when this will be open?

I called the Forest Service earlier today and they said it may open this weekend. The lady on the phone wouldn't get a definite answer and told me to call again on Friday. The number to call for a status update on Long Draw road is: 970-295-6600.

A few of us ran from the headwaters down this weekend and the level was perfect. Since the weekend it's droped quite a bit, from 6 (High) on Saturday to 4.5 (Medium-High) today. Hopefully they'll open that damn gate before the creek dries up...

its not open until its open. could be this weekend could be next. believe when i say everyone will know when it is.

I just talked to the FS. They are trying to get it open, but aren't sure if it is going to happen. They said they'll know by 4-4:30. I'm going to call back at that time and I'll post if there is any news.

I just got off the phone with FS. They confirmed that the road is now OPEN.

BS season has officially started.

Only bummer for me is that I out of town for a week... SAVE SOME OF THE WATER!
