Road is likely closed through July 30 due to forest service work. Flows have been stomping high in the poudre drainage. I suspect flows in big south will be bigger this year since people started running it in the 90's. I'd expect wood to have moved around significantly.
I don't think this year's peak will be as high as last year's... a few more days and we'll know for sure (things are starting to spike with this warm weather). Last year we had a significantly higher spike, and that moved a lot of wood around. I don't see the same kind of activity this year to date in the upper canyon. Having said that, there's always some new wood in there!
