Had to give up playboaing, legs just too long for anything but a superEZ, which is like a bathtub... Crekkin in the Jefe...

For whatever reason, I couldn't get my feet in a comfortable position in that boat.

I don't know, 6'2, 190 doesn't qualify as big in my book
I don't mass much more than you at ~210lb, but at 6'9" and
from a tall family, I've probably got a skewed perspective on

The SuperFun is the boat for me. It's the only "playish" boat
I can fit in, just wish I weighed more. For what you want,
I'd try one of the Stars if you want a Jackson boat. At your
height/weight I'd say the SuperFun would not be for your,
but the 4Fun might be.

As a note, I've found the '08 SuperFun to be harder to roll
than the '04 one I have. Probably due to the extra volume,
extra boat width, and me not weighing enough for it. Might
have to add some lead weights to it....

Good luck

big guy boats

My kid brother (6'4", 200lbs) paddles a 2005 4Fun and it fits him well. Another brother (6'6", 225) paddles a 2004 SuperFun, he likes it but misses the crisper performance of his SuperEz.

Me - 6'3", 250lbs, picked up a 2007 SuperFun last fall, wanted the extra volume it has versus the classic SuperFun I was paddling. The classic SuperFun at my weight was more or less a playboat, more forgiving and easier to roll than the boat I paddled the previously - WaveSport T4 - but less playful, less crisp (surfs, spins, etc).

I haven't noticed the 07 SuperFun to be 'harder' to roll than the classic, but it's definitely bigger in all ways - feels too big to me, still trying to get used to it.

Going to demo out a SuperFun (07+) this summer - will be nothing but play at my weight.

wow....I wasn't gonna say anything......but this is too big of a Jackson worship session, so I figure I would have to put in a word for your other choices.

I am a big fan of Drago Rossi and think their Thruster works very well for big guys as a full on playboat. Really Carvy, cartwheels well, and does all the other stuff a playboat needs to. Plus, its one of the best boats on a wave out there, big or small.

Riot makes some good stuff for big guys too, highest on the list being the Nitro. Paddled one of those for a while and really liked it. They also make the Astro, which is probably the best boat I have seen for getting bouncing air and big loops.

Anyways, just wanted to put a word in for a few non Jackson boats that I have had good experience with.

You should continue to look into the RAD 195.
