Big Dominques Canyon - runnable??

Anyone know if Big Dominques is runnable, I was hiking there this weekend, and other than two waterfalls on the lower section, the canyon looked runnable, that is when runoff starts.

I've talked to one guy who ran it from way up above Uniweep all the way to the Gunnison. He said it was a lot of flat water, thrashing through weeds, and walking for a few fun drops. He did it solo. Maybe the better plan is to carry up and just run a few of those cool lower drops. I hate carrying my boat.

Have fun.

Thanks for the info Tom. Also do you have Donnie Smiths new number? I have his old number from last summer when he was still in Junction, but that doesn't work. I would like to get ahold of him for Escalante when it runs.

Hey Tom. I would also like to get Donnie's number. I haven't talked to him since I left Junction.

Oh, and please let us know when Escalante goes. I want to spend a weekend camping and lapping the run.
