beta on pumphouse to statebridge by canoe, am I crazy?

hey guys,
I have a 17' old town that I thought I would take down the section below gore to the state bridge lodge, but haven't ever run it because I heard it was too easy. what would you say about it?? too big for a canoe?

easy intermedate for skilled oc-er's

most well-skilled open boaters consider this to be a relatively easy run but fun and can still work a few harder moves in places. a novice in an open boat without flotation could luck out or wind up in a bunch of trouble. if you are a decent kayaker you might figure it out....if you have good slalom technique you'll have it made. take a good bailer for your OT, they are pretty wet.

Western Whitewater rates Needle's Eye and Yarmony Rapids Class II+. If you're experienced and have flotation, you should do OK, I'd recommend something else if you haven't run rapids before in the canoe just to be on the safe side. If you go down to below Burns be prepared to portage - Rodeo is a Class III in the middle of a long, fairly tame section (you'll know it by the horizon line).

Stay safe and enjoy,
