wow... really got some feathers ruffled here... hee, hee, hee, heeeeee [rubbing hands diablolically]. I would hazard a guess that MT has a lot of the same issues that CO has, just waaay fewer people havin' 'em. Like: Front rangers vs. mt locals, pro- and anti-development, keep-my-private-spot-private vs. oooh-check-out-my-sick-youtube-video. I just love river-livin', and enjoying what's around me, so it sounds like if MSUGF will have me, I'll be happy as a clam. Just don't flip me off when you see the raft on a flatbed with Cascade county plates. I usually carry enough PBR to share.

4 out of 3 people have trouble with fractions.

Don't let the door hit you on your way out!

I feel sorry for someone that unhappy about the town they live in.

Sounds like you would be happier in Great Falls or Fargo?
They both have affordable real estate.

I moved to Boulder 30+ years ago because it is an incredible spot.
Still is, a bit more crowded, but still great.

To be fair to my home state, I'd highly suggest you visit Great Falls and decide for yourself before you pack your bags for the Golden Triangle, unless you're looking seriously into wheat farming.
