what's the best place to rent rafts (4) from for a westwater trip. (between denver and westwater)

we always do rimrock adventures in Fruita, make sure and tell em if you wanna Self bailer.

Another place is Alpenglow Mountainsports in Golden. Chris knows he's competing with companies closer to the real water so he gives you a free day on each end of your rental for travel. He's also got pretty reasonable rates and has had good equipment when I've rented from him.

Alpenglow in Golden is the way to go -- call ahead and reserve the boats or you won't be guaranteed to walk-in and go.

i like the alpenglow folks (got a kaya there years ago)

...but had to go with rim rock in fruita as they have a put in upstream from loma and they can even grab the boats at the cisco take out. they also rent groovers and fire rings. heck, for an extra $20, they even clean the groover!

also, they didn't need any deposit (alpenglow needs 1/2 up front)
