Marty Cronin has a great one he had built called the craw; its fits snugly and is really small when not in use. Or, head carrying is always an option, using a small strap wrapped around the boat in the cockpit area. this strap allows the boat to rest on the head with the backband against the forehead and the strap keeps the cockpit rim from jamming into the shoulders. I have used the craw on oh be and also on a high water mission on the big south; it works well.
