Sounds like R-2

For day-trip thrills without too many swims, an R-2 boat would probably serve best: Shredder, Hyside PaddleCat, or Jack's Culebra ( Main problem is that you need two paddlers, a problem when you want to do a float alone (imagine a 4-ft wide canoe).

A tandem duckie can be paddled by one, no sweat.

I just built a rowing frame for an old Shredder so it could be soloed, or used for fishing day-trips (with a seat frame over the spray deck).

At least you have interesting choices.

Mike, I am in Salida now and have my Caption here.

I'd be happy to let you use it for Stone Bridge to town and/or Rincon.

I think you will find it superior to the Coleman.

Call me tomorrow if you are interested.
