I definitely recommend beer in the GC. Without it I would have died.

Someone poisoned our water by adding a TSP per gallon of bleach or some such nonsense. Tsp or tsp what's the difference right?

I drank nothing but beer for three days, until I found a stash of frozen water bottles that were nearly done.

Yes, yes, beer is good.

I will add one thing - Budweiser freezes particularly well compared to some others. This can help. Others may do this well too. I will be searching for something else after watching 'Beer Wars', but it still has to freeze well.

Unless you have unlimited dry box space you will have to fabricate some way to carry them. I have started packaging beverages for river with stretch wrap too. Still has some waste that is stinky if burned but it holds up well to water. You must calculate that you will loose some. Too much sand and grit for several cans ( might have been close to a half rack for me) to not go down during the trip.

Along the lines of freezing- natty ice (or mostly anything with "ice" in the label) freezes without exploding. Use the frozen beer instead of ice in your cooler to save space. Of course, then you're stuck drinking natty ice.

Bag wine packs into where ever you want it to go if you pull it out of the box. I can fit several bags in the back of my kayak!

24 hours in a day

24 beers in a case

.... coincidence? !! .... I think not.

cold water off the bottom of dams gets beers cold in 8 minutes. Store your beers in protected manner or loose them to the river. If you float all your beers at camp, carabiner that bag to a boat.

Beer ya go.
