Bear Creek UPSTREAM of "Bear Creek"

Anybody run any part of Bear Creek upstream of Idledale?

How about the urban run: Bear Creek Lake to the Platte?

Yeah I ran Bear Creek from The bottom of Evergreen Dam after the police were called to Lair of the bear. It was very shallow and lots of strainers

There is some class 4- ish stuff above and right below Lair o' the Bear at say 300+,but also low head dams, low bridges, homemade log or plank bridges ,strainers, a lot of II,and possibly pissed off property owners.

Sheridan to the Platte, basically there are 4 II+/III- drops/rapids with possible strainers and a pipe that must be portaged at 175 io 300.At 600 it is pushy III with few eddies and strainer issues, easy but sketchy. There was a bulldozer or something doing work by the double drop in the park a while back don't know what they did to it.

Thanks for the info. Guess there are reasons people don't talk much about those sections...
