Saw a post on Denverpost from jeffcosheriff that Bear Creek was at 874cfs, with 7.31 on the gauge height. Posted at 10:20am.

The gauge height is still working, for flow comparisons. The highest anyone ran it this past week was 680cfs on Thursday. So, probably too high today for most mortals.

Upper Bear Creek has an evacuation recommendation again, and the engineers have determined that Evergreen Reservoir dam is safe.

Rumor has Bailey Jake ran it yesterday, with whom I don't know. But sounds like the flood may have flossed things out pretty well. Even found Ian's paddle somewhere along the way. That would put it at a tad above 8' below Evergreen.

I think the reference from the JeffCo sheriff was above town, since the gauge is currently reading 8' on Bear creek at Morrison.

The gauge at Morrison is not reading cfs, but it is still reading gauge height. 7.6 is 600 cfs. 7.9 is probably 1000 cfs. 8.0 feet is prob 1200 ish. The gauge will report cfs when it drops below 830 cfs. If you click on tabular data you can see gauge height numbers for every 15 mins to see trends.

Here is the link to the rating table for the bear creek at Morrison gauge. Shows cfs flow for every gauge height. You can extrapolate what higher flows are.
