Bear creek access or hazards?

Thought I heard a while back the put in was under some heat. Anybody know if anything has changed? Also if anyone has been down it in the last few days, any changes or wood issues?

As of last fall there no access issues, however, the property owner at the hobbit hole does not welcome visitors. Again, as of last fall, not current, wood across the main line on hobbit hole but there were lines in the middle & far left channels (the drop is different after the floods). There was a piece of wood in the dam drop, and a wood requiring a portage a little bit above the Lair of The Bear. Naturally stuff may have shifted with the latest runoff-like event.

So a lot has changed in bear creek since the high water last year. First off, lots of wood. Second off, a lot of the drops have changed as well. I won't go into all of it but beware of the dam drop as there is a river wide strainer in the landing. Also a strainer a few hundred yards above and below the dam. We walked out before the "willow" section, as we were abit weary of what the trees may have in store for us after seeing what the rest looked like.

For sure a fast paced, eddy hopping, read and run creek. Don't know if we will go back anytime soon.
