Barker Res Spill Date?

Anyone live up in Ned and have a guess if/when Barker likely to spill this year? Looks like hot weather to continue well into next week.

Just drove by there after the Source last night. It looked like there was 20 feet to go before the spillway kicks up the flow -sorry to hand out the bad news; looks like a few more weeks.

This morning the influent to Barker Resv. is about 325cfs but we need to sustain that flow for about 17-20 more days in order to fill the thing. I hate to say it but Barker probably won't spill this year. If it does It'll just lap over the spillway.
So, yeah, we have a shit-ton of snow in the watershed but because of the high winds over the winter we got a much more solid pack than last year. It'll be melting alot slower but the good news is that we'll have a longer, more consistant season.

2' and closing in. At this rate, it may go on Sunday, if they do not change the water management.

thanks for the update.

btw, is there a small release from barker even before it spills?

i noticed the other day that very little is coming in from north fork. hard to believe that there is much natural flow into middle boulder creek below barker.

Most of the water is coming from the North Fork. They are releasing out of Barker 70-90CFS is a guess. They have been doing this all spring. I think this is why the fill up has been going slower then expected.

Wow, I saw it at lunch. It could spill tonight or tomorrow the way that it is going.
