Awesome day! Denver water turned on the tunnel to 500+ cfs from 10am to 11am. It takes it takes a couple of hours for the water to get from the tunnel to bailey (12-1PM?). We put on around 1:00pm and paddled the bubble all the way down. Felt like 500-600, nice and fluffy. Tons of debris and small branches all the way down and chocolate milk brown. One big ass log delicately hanging on to a rock a little ways above first falls. Will likely go into first falls with higher flows.
Rallied a crew of 6 out of bed, out of class, and out of work to hit it! So much fun for early season flows.
Check out the tunnel flow spike. Pretty sure we got it at the top!
